Join Ultima Care as a Complex Carer, supporting clients with higher or specialist needs to live safely and comfortably in their own homes.

In this rewarding role, you’ll work with individuals who require advanced levels of care due to complex health conditions, ensuring their wellbeing, dignity, and independence are always maintained.

You’ll play a vital role in delivering and managing tailored care plans, working collaboratively with our clinical team and other professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes for every client.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver and manage personalised care plans for clients with complex health or personal care needs.

  • Provide assistance with personal care, including hygiene, mobility, and medication, where required.

  • Support clients with multi-system health issues, challenging behaviours, or specialist equipment.

  • Liaise closely with family members, healthcare professionals, and the Ultima Care clinical team.

  • Monitor, record, and report changes in client condition, escalating issues as appropriate.

  • Maintain a flexible and responsive approach, adapting to changes and ensuring client dignity.

  • Uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and compassion.

Requirements
  • Proven experience providing care for clients with complex or advanced needs.

  • Strong understanding of specialist care delivery and the ability to follow/adapt care plans.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — compassionate, patient, and dependable.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining high-quality, person-centred care.

  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent).

  • Valid DBS / background check.

  • A driving licence is preferred (especially if the role involves visiting multiple clients).
